Graham Hills

Graham realised a lifelong dream in his role leading team Indonesia for Wego. The country had a major impact during school exchange visits in the mid-1990s which saw him return to study Bahasa Indonesia (ACICIS programme) at Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta. After a stint at Tourism Western Australia, Graham moved to Singapore in 2007 and joined OctopusTravel.com, leading the content team as part of a major upgrade to its online presence.

He joined Yahoo! South East Asia at the end of 2008 and became integral to the expansion of Yahoo! Travel with the introduction of Travel Inspirations. Graham is very data and ROI driven, ultimately and completely passionate about the user experience.

In early 2011 he joined Wego and launched Wego Indonesia in Jakarta with a team that now numbers over 30 people. Graham's team has established solid relationships for Wego Indonesia throughout all the social media platforms, becoming one of the most popular travel companies in the country; reaching an audience of around 5 million each week.

Graham has significantly grown revenue and visitation to the Wego site in Indonesia, while establishing important local and international partnerships, which includes working closely with Auckland International Airport to promote the city and New Zealand to Indonesian travellers.
